To achieve this, we proactively seek our members’ feedback, collated through our relationship management teams on an ongoing basis, as well as through network-wide initiatives like the Annual Survey. This helps ensure Sesame is well-positioned to help members achieve their goals, enabling us understand what is important to our members.

We have used feedback to develop the support available from Sesame around specialist lending, as well as to add nine new lenders to our panel, to diversify our ancillary business support services, and more.

Sesame was quick to expand its mortgage proposition to provide guidance to our members around RIO and later-life lending solutions, including hosting a round of equity release workshops, and launching bespoke panels in this area.

Sesame also bolstered its specialist lending support to ensure members are able to keep-up with market trends as they develop. We redeveloped our second charge panel to make it easier to navigate and use, as well as launching Buy To Let Forums.

In addition, Sesame has supported firms to implement re-targeting strategies to improve client retention. We believe this is why our product transfer business is one of the strongest in the market and hit over £1bn of product transfers in July 2018.

Plus, this year we launched our Rewire Routines campaign. This initiative was designed to ensure advisers are providing customers with the right cover for their mortgage investments.

Nearly 700 advisers signed the charter, with the website generating over 8,000 visits. Social media activity earned over 40,000 impressions, and more than 400 advisers took part in webinars. For every adviser signing-up, a donation was made to British Heart Foundation, raising over £10,000. Advisers taking part increased their protection business by 22% and GI by 43%.
